A warm welcome to Liverpool

Bishop Paul
As delegates and speakers make their way to Liverpool for USPG’s Rethinking Mission Day Conference at the Cathedral on Saturday 16th March 2019, the Rt Revd Paul Bayes, Bishop of Liverpool has already extended a warm welcome:-

“I am delighted that USPG are bringing this important conference to Liverpool, and I fully support the wider ‘Rethinking Mission’ initiative”, he said. “In this Diocese we have long-standing links with the dioceses of Virginia and Kumasi, Ghana. We work together to build a Triangle of Hope to remember and learn from the dreadful Slave Triangle and to oppose its echoes in modern slavery today. And we warmly welcome ‘Rethinking Mission’s distinguished speakers and participants as they share and work together to build a just and holy world.”

We look forward to seeing those of you who are attending and reporting back afterwards to all of you who kindly support us.
