A report by Emma Bridger and Dr Jo Sadgrove from USPG will be presented at the United Nations Commission on the Status of Women which is taking place in New York between 11th-22nd March 2019. Entitled ‘Keeping Faith in Faith Leaders’ the document is part of the Joint Learning Initiative’s (JLI) review of faith based responses to issues of gender and gender inequality. This is also supported by the International Partnerships for Religion and Sustainable Development’s (PaRD) gender workstream of which USPG are active members. The review will be presented in the main building of the United Nations on Monday 18th March to an audience of United Nations agencies, government delegations and civil society organisations.
